The Keil Kraft EeZeBILT Piper Super Cruiser

Thanks to the generosity of Chris Blanch, I am happy to offer another Eezebilt model to download - this time a scale model of the Piper Super Cruiser. I can't see any reason why this one shouldn't be a good flyer.

Kit contents on display. The prop was missing, but I'm sure it would have been one of the standard 5 inch Keil Kraft items. Note the dissimilar wing colours in the original due to the differing amount of ink put down - I'm sure you can do better.

Wheels are 1 inch diameter. The pattern for the undercarriage wire plus windshield is shown on one of the part sheets.

There's no plan with this one, just instructions, which you'll find below. Two versions of the parts are supplied, one with the coloured areas of the original faithfully reproduced, and one in plain balsa.

Instructions in pdf format on two A4 sheets (383 KB)

Super Cruiser parts, pdf files in colour to print on eight A4 sheets (96 KB)

Super Cruiser parts, pdf files, outlines only, to print on eight A4 sheets (96 KB)

Super Cruiser parts in colour, Zipped bitmap files to print on eight A4 sheets (224 KB)

Super Cruiser parts, outlines only, zipped bitmap files to print on eight A4 sheets (96 KB)

Notes on printing

All the images were scanned at 150 dpi and the bitmaps are 1000 pixels wide, so to print out these full size you need to set the image width in your graphics program to 6.67 inches (1000/150)

The pdf files will print out full size if you set the zoom to 100% or "none" and paper size to A4 (even if you do not have this size paper in the printer).

To help you size the parts correctly, scales are included in mm alongside them.

If you build one, let me know how it flies and send me picture for the web site!
